As an American-born Palestinian Muslim A.Rob is on a journey to preserve the poetic nature of the lyrical hip hop that influenced him--namely people like Nas, Lupe Fiasco, Eminem, and Jay Z. “Really I just care so much about music having a positive message, influencing good in people & fighting evil,” A.Rob says of his inspiration. Ca$H is the 1st single off of his upcoming EP "Land of the Free" and takes a close look at what it's like to be a struggling artist in America today.
As with all Giving Groove releases all label profits are donated to a 501(c)3 music-related charity. For this project we are supporting Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture.
“Al-Bustan,” Arabic for “The Garden,” offers structured exposure to the language, art, music, dance, literature, and natural environment of the Arab world. Al-Bustan promotes cross-cultural understanding among youth and adults of all ethnic, religious, and socio-economic backgrounds through artistic and educational programs. Al-Bustan supports the pursuit and affirmation of Arab American cultural identity, while playing a constructive civic role within broader American society.
